Kentucky Hemp Association Urges Congress to Support American Hemp Farmers
The Kentucky Hemp Association (KYHA) urges Congress to reject Rep. Andy Harris’s proposed FY2026 hemp restrictions, which would criminalize THC‑containing hemp products and undermine over a decade of investment rebuilding Kentucky’s hemp industry. Backed by state agriculture leaders and Senator Rand Paul, KYHA calls for sensible federal policy that preserves farmers’ livelihoods, protects consumer access to non‑intoxicating CBD, and supports the continued growth of Kentucky’s hemp supply chain.
